1. Objective & Scope

This Delegate Mission—“Making Impact Evaluation Accessible”—set out to update and expand Optimism’s Impact Evaluation Framework in line with Season 5 intents and to drive wider adoption of Impact Metrics by launching user-friendly interfaces for the Metrics Garden. By equipping the community with open-source tools, live guidance sessions, and transparent processes, we aimed to:

• Educate contributors and Badgeholders on Optimism governance and RetroPGF workflows
• Strengthen core governance infrastructure through improved evaluation methodologies
• Empower participants to identify, assess, and support high-impact work

Upon completion, this report consolidates all findings, improvements, and user needs uncovered throughout Milestones 1–5 into a single, comprehensive deliverable.
